The Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, a leading educational institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, demonstrated high results in the 2026 National Multisubject Test, taking leading positions in the subject rankings of educational institutions of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region, and, in the Ukrainian language, entering the ranks of the 200 best schools in Ukraine. These achievements became a testament to the high level of preparation of the graduates, the professionalism of the educators, and the effectiveness of the lyceum’s systematic educational work.
Particularly significant was the result in the Ukrainian language. The lyceum took 7th place among the educational institutions of Dnipro, 8th place in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and 165th place among the 200 best schools in Ukraine in this subject. Behind such a high result stands the many years of work of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher, Svitlana Chernyshova, her professional mastery, exacting standards, and ability to give students the thorough knowledge necessary for successfully passing the national testing.
No less significant achievements were demonstrated by the lyceum’s graduates in mathematics. According to the results of NMT-2026, the educational institution took 9th place among the schools of Dnipro and 11th place in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Great credit for this belongs to the mathematics teacher, Iryna Shuleshko, whose daily work, professionalism, and consistent preparation of students helped them achieve high results in one of the most difficult subjects of the national testing.
The lyceum also took high positions in Ukrainian history – 10th place in Dnipro and 12th place in the Dnipropetrovsk region. These results became a well-deserved recognition of the work of the history teacher, Olha Skytiashyna, who helps students not only acquire the necessary knowledge but also understand historical processes, see the interconnection of events, and become aware of the significance of their country’s history.
Thus, in three of the most important subjects at once, the Jewish Lyceum of Dnipro found itself among the leading educational institutions of the city and the region, and in the Ukrainian language it entered the nationwide list of the two hundred best schools. Behind these figures stand not only the efforts of individual teachers but also the many years of work of the entire pedagogical collective, the perseverance of the students, the support of the parents, and the educational environment created at the lyceum.
“We feel enormous pride in our graduates and educators, for such results are never accidental – behind them stand years of study, daily work, perseverance, and mutual trust,” noted Lyceum Director Olena Krasnova. “I want to especially thank Svitlana Chernyshova, Iryna Shuleshko, and Olha Skytiashyna, whose students achieved such high results, as well as our entire pedagogical collective, which for many years has created the foundation for these achievements. Of course, special gratitude goes to our children for their diligence and thirst for knowledge, and to the parents for their cooperation, understanding, and love. It is fundamentally important to us that the lyceum’s successes are measured not only by individual victories but also by the high level of education that we strive to provide to every child. This is precisely where our educational mission lies, and we can successfully fulfill it thanks to the constant attention, care, and comprehensive support of the united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
