The September issue of the newspaper “Shabat Shalom” (392nd issue overall) has again been published in a shortened, eight-page format.
The front page is entirely dedicated to a detailed story about the “PlayBack” day camp, organized by the Dnipro Jewish Community for girls aged 6 to 14.
The second page features an overview of video addresses by the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminezki, on the weekly Torah portions; in the “Community Life” section, there is a story about the day camp for the youngest members of the Dnipro Jewish Community, as well as a brief note about a children’s excursion to the “Menorah” center.
The third page contains a “news panorama” from the “Chesed Menachem” Charity Foundation.
The fourth page includes stories about the theater studio of the “Beit Baruch” Home for the Elderly on its anniversary, a women’s online lesson dedicated to the 20th of Av, as well as short notes about a women’s farbrengen dedicated to the 15th of Av, and news from the “Solomonika” JCC projects.
The fifth page is entirely devoted to an interview with the executive director of the OJEU, Vitaliy Kamozin.
The sixth page features two items: an extensive interview with Arkadiy Frankenberg, a member of the city’s Jewish community and a professional doctor who headed the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Dermatovenerological Dispensary for 33 years, as well as a short note titled “Day Camp.”
The seventh page is fully dedicated to congratulations and memories from the newspaper’s oldest author, Igor Semyonovich Manevich, on the occasion of his ninety-third birthday.
The eighth page traditionally contains congratulations, announcements, and this time “Jewish wisdom” instead of jokes.
