Passover holidays in the boarding school for boys

The Passover holidays, which this year lasted from April 14 to 20 in very good weather conditions that contributed to the festive mood, were interesting and eventful for the pupils of the boarding school for boys “Bait leBanim” of the Jewish community of Dnipro.

The first two holiday evenings, both students and educators participated in the Seder, and starting from the third day of the holiday and on all days that have the status of Hola HaMoed, an extensive entertainment program was organized for the children with an emphasis on physical development, which is a feature of the celebration of Passover in this particular Jewish institution.

On the first day, the children went for a long bike ride along the picturesque Dnipro embankment, and the next day they visited the climbing center, where they had a chance to have fun trying themselves as climbers who could conquer any steeps. The third day was devoted to bowling, which is also very sporty, and finally, a visit to the rollerdrome was arranged, where everyone had the opportunity to rollerbladed to their heart’s content on tracks with different slopes and obstacles.

“We turned every day of the Easter vacation into a bright and fun sports adventure for our boys,” says Rabbi David Vaskovsky, the head of the boarding school. “Thanks to the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro, we were able to arrange a real Easter vacation for the children without even leaving the city.

The events were held thanks to the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro.
