In Mahon “Haya-Mushka” Purim was celebrated brightly and with great joy this year and despite the fact that it was Friday and Shabbat was coming in the evening, there were many activities and fun events throughout the day.
“After the morning prayer, which took place, as always, in each study group separately, everyone gathered for a general reading of Megilat Esther, which this year was conducted for us by Rabbi Moishe Neuman,” said Amora Sheina Smilyanska, “from the very morning the holiday was stormy and colorful – the girls dressed in bright carnival costumes, exchanged Mishloach Manot, sang and danced. We prepared a festive photo shoot and each girl received a gift magnet in memory of this year’s Purim.”
At the end of Purim, a large festive meal “Mishte ve Simcha” was held in the machon premises, because joy and joy are important commandments of this day. However, the Purim celebration did not end there – the older girls went to carry the holiday to the Home for the Elderly, but we will tell about that separately.
