Purim celebration from the “Campus” club

A costumed event dedicated to the holiday of Purim was held for children and teenagers aged 6-17 who attend the programs of the “Campus” club of the “Sochnut-Ukraine” branch in Dnipro.

The event was attended by over forty children and teenagers who were able to prepare and present Mishloach Manot, take part in various games and competitions, get acquainted with the history and traditions of Purim, and also, under the guidance of the madrichs, create and play real Purim games.

“Most of the participants came to the event in various costumes: Spider-Man, zombies, vampires and favorite characters from films and cartoons. And those who wanted to added a twist to their look with a carnival mask they made themselves, says Oleksandra Kotok, director of the informal education department of the Sokhnut-Ukraine branch. “The favorite part was the audience preference contest, which awarded the most creative and interesting costumes, and their owners received delicious and bright gifts and branded calendars.”
