Purim Week at the Jewish Lyceum

This entire week at the Levi-Yitzhak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144 is dedicated to the approach of Purim, which the Lyceum has decided to celebrate as brightly and creatively as possible.

“Every day this week, the Lyceum students decorate something or someone,” said the traditions teacher Leia Lazareva. “On Monday, the children decorated their classrooms and made photo zones; on Tuesday, they decorated themselves, and on Wednesday, we will decorate the class teachers. On the eve of Purim, on Thursday, everyone in the Lyceum will prepare and decorate Mishloach Manot, because this is one of the four main commandments of this holiday.”

The culmination of this Purim marathon, which was called the “Week of Joy and Beauty,” will be the “Mega-Purim-Business-Fest,” which will be held at the Lyceum on Friday, that is, on the very day of the Purim holiday. This Purim week is the central event of the “JOY-JEW” month, the beginning of which our website reported here
