We remind you that the holiday of Rosh Ha-Shanah is not only the beginning of the year but, first and foremost, the Day of Judgment when the Almighty judges all His creations. It is a time when the fate of all existence for the coming year is determined. Therefore, both before and after this day, until the final seal is affixed to the decree on the Day of Atonement – Yom Kippur, we pray to the Creator for a favorable verdict for our loved ones, family, and friends, for our communities, for our native Ukraine, for Israel, and for the entire world.
It is very important to voice our wishes aloud, not just in our thoughts, because the word – prayer and wish – has immense power, and during these days, our voice has special significance. A sincerely spoken wish can influence destiny – so let us wholeheartedly wish each other a good inscription and a favorable decree. May the Master of the Universe hear this and make it so.
Do not forget: it is necessary to come and hear the shofar on both days of Rosh Ha-Shanah during the morning Shacharit prayer.
In Dnipro, the sounding of the shofar will take place at the Central Synagogue “Golden Rose” at 11:40 AM on September 23 and 24.
