“Shura Rishon”: Preparing for Geula

The project for senior students of the “Haya-Mushka” machon, called “Shura Rishon” (“Vanguard”), held a game dedicated to the importance of actions that accelerate the approach of Geula, the prototype of which is the holiday of Pesach.

“The Lubavitcher Rebbe emphasized that the Jews approached and achieved liberation from Egypt by fulfilling the commandments that had not yet been given to them as law, which occurred as a result of liberation,” says Hana Stambler, one of the leaders of the “Shura Rishon” project, “this teaches us that if we want to achieve something, we must behave as if we have already achieved it. That is, no matter how difficult or inconvenient it may be, overcoming any obstacles, we must diligently fulfill the commandments and this will bring us closer to Geula. How did the Jews in Egypt first begin to fulfill the commandments, and this led to the fact that they gained the opportunity to receive them on Mount Sinai.

A large and interesting game with stations was organized for the Mahon pupils, and the prizes were: for the third place, a Pandora brand jewelry, for the second – a Swarovski jewelry, and for the first place, a leather-bound Mahzor.

The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
