During the Chol HaMoed days of Sukkot, the Jewish Community of Dnipro joyfully organized for its members the opportunity to fulfill important holiday commandments: not only “netilat lulav” but also to enjoy festive meals, made possible by the generosity of Reb Natan Zolotarevsky and his family, in the special atmosphere of the sukkah set up in the courtyard of the central “Golden Rose” Synagogue.
At the mitzvah post in the sukkah, every congregant can perform the commandment of “netilat lulav,” raising the four species of plants that symbolize the unity of the Jewish people. After fulfilling this commandment, participants receive an invitation to a festive meal held right in the booth, in memory of our people’s wanderings in the desert.
Thus, everyone has the opportunity to fully experience the beauty of Sukkot, combining the spiritual fulfillment of commandments with joyful and cozy celebration together with the community.
