A daytime festival, SUMMER DAY CAMPUS, organized by the “Sochnut-Ukraine” Branch, took place on the grounds of the Jewish Lyceum No. 144 for children ages 6 to 14.
Over the course of five days, festival participants explored the world of Jewish culture, learned about prominent Jewish figures who made significant contributions to science, art, and other fields, and took part in thematic sessions, Hebrew lessons, and interactive activities.
Creative workshops held a special place in the program. The older group created their own aroma sachets, while the younger participants enthusiastically decorated socks, turning them into bright and unique creations.
The children were thrilled by a spectacular chemistry show, and fun team quests provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate ingenuity, teamwork, and to enjoy time together.
The festival concluded brightly with a shared picnic featuring pizza and refreshing lemonades, where participants shared impressions, smiles, and warm memories of the festival. After SUMMER DAY CAMPUS ended, the children headed off for summer vacation, taking with them new knowledge, sincere emotions, vivid memories, and a desire to meet again.
The madrichim, leaders of the Campus youth club, and all festival participants express their gratitude to the “Sochnut-Ukraine” Branch, the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Lyceum No. 144, and the Dnipro Jewish Community for making this festival possible.
