A ceremonial and truly warm celebration of the 75th birthday of Ze’ev Zalman Vinogradov took place in the Dnipro Jewish Community – a man whose name is inextricably linked to the revival of Jewish life and public activism in various countries and, above all, in Dnipro.
The anniversary evening was held in the cozy atmosphere of the kosher dairy restaurant Menorah Hummus Bar. Community employees, activists, and friends came to congratulate the honoree, for whom Ze’ev Zalman Vinogradov has been an example of responsibility, dedication, and sincere care for people for many years. Many warm words of gratitude and recognition for his merits, life journey, and personal contribution to the development of the Jewish community were spoken that evening.
Ze’ev Zalman is rightly considered one of the pioneers of the Jewish revival in Dnipro. His activities over many years have been aimed at strengthening Jewish identity, supporting community initiatives, and helping those particularly in need of support. He also made a significant contribution to the development of Jewish life in Israel and Kazakhstan, remaining faithful to the idea of serving people and the community.
His contribution to the social sphere was especially noted in the speeches. Ze’ev Zalman Vinogradov was one of the founders and the first director of the social center of the charitable organization “Good Future” (“Dobre Maybutnye”), whose mission became to assist in the rehabilitation and socialization of Jews released from places of detention. This project was an important step in creating a support system based on human dignity, compassion, and faith in the possibility of a new beginning.
The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wholeheartedly congratulate Ze’ev Zalman Vinogradov on his anniversary and join in the warmest wishes for health, long years, spiritual strength, and joy. May his life continue to be filled with Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds, and may his work continue to bring blessing to many people.
Mazl Tov!
