The Culmination of the Kinus Hashluchim: The Gala Banquet That Unites the Jewish World

The main and most inspiring moment of the annual International Kinus Hashluchim took place in New York – the solemn gala banquet that traditionally concludes the worldwide gathering of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s emissaries. This year, around 6,500 shluchim and guests from around the world gathered at the banquet tables, among them – a delegation from the Dnipro Jewish Community led by Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.

In the vast pavilion transformed into a banquet hall, the atmosphere was not just one of joy, but of confidence and strength. This was an evening that spoke of the future: despite the challenges facing the Jewish people, the network of shluchim is growing, strengthening, and bringing light to the most diverse points on the planet.

Stories were told of the self-sacrifice of the emissaries, of lives saved, of resilience in the face of wars, disasters, and personal trials. Rabbis, military chaplains, and heroes who had survived tragedies took to the stage – each one demonstrating that the Rebbe’s teachings continue to live, inspire, and strengthen the Jewish world.

The climax of the evening was the completion of the writing of a new Torah Scroll, dedicated to the memory of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky. And in the finale, the hall erupted in song and dance – a joy that unites thousands of emissaries and the millions of people behind them.

The Kinus Gala Banquet once again confirmed: the Chabad movement continues to grow, and the light carried by the shluchim reaches the farthest corners of the globe. The delegation of the Dnipro Jewish Community was part of this historic moment, representing our city at the global gathering of Jewish leaders.
