The Grand Cosmic Journey “Meholelot Meapiсha” Concluded with a Festive Banquet and Gifts!

At the world’s largest Jewish center, the Menorah Center in Dnipro, the summer day camp “Meholelot Meapiсha,” organized by the Jewish Community of Dnipro for girls in grades 1–9, came to a close. This year, the camp was styled as an epic interstellar journey.

Each participant in this stellar adventure received a specially designed diploma and a unique “cosmic” souvenir—a candle, symbolizing the eternal importance of spreading light. The candle serves as a reminder that even a small deed, a single mitzvah, or proper behavior can bring a great deal of spiritual light into the world and become part of the Great Transformation leading toward the ultimate goal—Geulah (Redemption).

The girls joyfully watched a video highlighting their time at “Meholelot Meapiсha,” reminiscing over every moment of camp. They were especially amused by a humorous segment with unexpected answers to various questions. Camp directors Malka Feldman and Edna Yudovich reminded the girls how many mitzvot they had fulfilled and how much they had grown spiritually during their time together. They encouraged them to continue their efforts and one day become proud, strong members of the Jewish community—ready to embrace Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.

During the final banquet, seated at beautifully arranged tables, the girls decorated specially prepared cookies, each carrying deep symbolic meaning. After the meal, within their individual groups, every participant received a special gift that could be personalized with their own photos and decorated in the unique style of “Meholelot Meapiсha.”

“These were truly unforgettable days, and every camper sincerely thanks the Jewish Community of Dnipro and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki,” said co-director Edna Yudovich. “Our virtual cosmic journey has come to an end. We learned so much, discovered so much, and now, filled with the energy of Ahavat Yisrael (love of fellow Jews), we are ready to take the light we received in ‘Mecholalot Me’apicha’ and bring it into the world—to make it a better place, to draw it closer to Geulah, and to bring great nachas to our Rebbe.”
