The Jewish Community Congratulates Doctor Ihor Oleksandrovych Drik on an Honorary Award

In Dnipro, a ceremony was held to present honorary awards from the city mayor, Borys Filatov, to participants in the liquidation of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant accident and to those who actively helped restore the health of the hero liquidators and overcome the consequences of this man-made disaster.

Among those honored with a Letter of Gratitude from the city mayor was the esteemed member of the Dnipro Jewish Community, Ihor Oleksandrovych Drik, an orthopedic traumatologist, a well-known volunteer of “Hesed Menachem,” who actively collaborates with the Jewish Medical Center “JMC.” The text of the Gratitude states that Ihor Oleksandrovych is awarded “for conscientious and dedicated work in the field of healthcare, professionalism, humanity, dedication to the chosen cause, and a significant personal contribution to restoring the health of those affected by the man-made disaster, and on the occasion of the Day of Honor for the participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant accident.”

The Jewish Community of Dnipro sincerely congratulates Ihor Oleksandrovych Drik, an excellent specialist, volunteer, and activist of the Jewish revival, who for many years has been helping members of the Jewish community, on this well-deserved honorary award. We wish him many years of fruitful work, robust health, and may the blessing of the Almighty always be with him and his family.
