The students of the yeshiva visited “Tiferet Matzot.”

On the eve of Pesach, the students of the Dnipro yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi-Yitzhak Schneerson visited the famous Dnipro matzah bakery “Tiferet Matzot,” where they produce special handmade shmura matzah using ancient techniques.

“Every year, we prepare very carefully for Pesach, recalling its history and traditions, getting ready both physically and spiritually,” says the director of the yeshiva, Rabbanit Hannah Segal. “But it is very important for the children not only to know what matzah is, but also to see with their own eyes how it is made, how crucial it is to prepare it correctly, and how meticulously all the prescriptions are followed, as this gives matzah great spiritual significance.”

The children watched with great pleasure as the flour and water were mixed, how quickly the dough had to be prepared, cut into pieces, rolled out, and perforated, and then swiftly sent to the oven, where it would transform into real shmura matzah, which would be consumed during the Passover Seder not only in Ukraine but also in many countries around the world.

The event was organized with the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro.
