In honor of the Shavuot holiday, a special women’s event featuring a dairy meal, fun games, and an engaging floral arrangement workshop was organized at one of the synagogues of the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community – “Beit Chabad Levi Yitzchak” on Nauky Avenue.
The central part of the event was a talk by Rebbetzin Chana Kaminezki of Dnipro, who delivered a Dvar Torah and spoke about the meanings of the holiday that are particularly significant for women and especially relevant in our time. Those present, led by the Rebbetzin’s daughter, Risha Gurevich, warmly welcomed the main guest of the event, who celebrates her birthday on the holiday of Shavuot.
Following an exquisite dairy meal, a light and enjoyable game on themes related to Shavuot took place. The gathering concluded with a workshop on creating festive bouquets, which are a bright and memorable attribute of the holiday, adorning Jewish homes and synagogues on the Day of the Giving of the Torah.
“This was a very heartfelt and inspiring gathering, and I am very grateful to my mother for being able to come and speak so wonderfully, creating an unforgettable Chassidic atmosphere for us,” said Rebbetzin Risha Gurevich. “For our Beit Chabad, such gatherings are very important. For their constant support, both on weekdays and on holidays, we wholeheartedly thank our dear, united, and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
