Starting July 20, the Jewish Medical Center “JMC,” a leading medical institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, offers individuals aged 40 and over the opportunity to undergo a modern comprehensive health examination at one of the region’s best multidisciplinary clinics, with state funding through the NHSU. Thanks to this government support program, each participant can receive 2,000 hryvnias, which are used to pay for the examination at JMC, while receiving the full level of medical care, modern technology, and professional support that the medical center provides.
The main advantage of this opportunity is that the state funding allows for an examination not just at any medical facility, but specifically at JMC – a clinic where highly qualified family physicians and internists work, a modern in-house laboratory operates, cutting-edge diagnostic equipment is used, and, if necessary, consultations with specialists are available on-site. As a result, the patient receives not only test results but also a comprehensive assessment of their health status in comfortable conditions, without the need to visit multiple medical facilities.
During a single visit, a family physician or internist conducts a consultation, gathers information about the patient’s health, lifestyle, heredity, and risk factors, performs necessary measurements, assesses the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and evaluates the patient’s psycho-emotional state. The examination program includes mandatory laboratory tests, including a lipid profile and glycated hemoglobin measurement. If medically indicated, additional tests, electrocardiography, blood pressure monitoring, and specialist consultations may be ordered.
After receiving the results, the doctor analyzes all indicators together, explains them in detail to the patient, and determines further tactics for prevention, monitoring, or treatment. This approach allows for the timely detection of potential health risks even before pronounced symptoms appear and, if necessary, to begin treatment at the earliest possible stage.
To participate in the program, it is necessary to apply for state funding through the “Diia” app. The procedure takes only a few minutes, after which the state transfers 2,000 hryvnias to a special card, designated exclusively for paying for a comprehensive health checkup. Then, all that remains is to choose a convenient time to visit JMC and undergo the examination at a modern clinic with a high level of medical service.
“We are very pleased that the Jewish Medical Center has been able to offer this program to our patients,” noted Professor Oleksandr Rodynsky, General Director of JMC, Doctor of Medical Sciences. “The state provides people with the financial means to undergo an examination, and our task is to ensure that these funds are used with maximum benefit for a person’s health. That is why we have joined the implementation of this program and invite members of the Dnipro Jewish Community, residents of the city, and the entire region to take advantage of it. I am confident that the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive examination at JMC will be an important step for many toward maintaining their health, and the participation of our medical center in this program is yet another manifestation of the constant care for people that has always been, is, and remains one of the most important priorities of the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
