Grand Pre-Rosh Ha-Shanah Concert at “Beit Baruch” Home

A major concert dedicated to the approaching holiday of Rosh Ha-Shanah and other holidays and significant dates of the month of Tishrei was held at the “Beit Baruch” Home for the Elderly, a unique social institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.

The concert featured participants from both the creative studio of the “Beit Baruch” Home itself, led by Rivka Lazareva, and guests – second-grade students from the Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi-Yitzchak Schneerson, under the guidance of their homeroom teacher, Viktoriia Pliner.

“This wasn’t quite a full-fledged play by our creative studio, but rather a literary-musical composition that we prepared with our talented members for the Tishrei holidays,” explained social worker Rivka Lazareva. “Our senior artists were very nervous but performed admirably. The wonderful children from our lyceum were the true highlight of this concert; their sincerity, enthusiasm, and spiritual energy moved everyone present.”

To conclude the pre-holiday event, the Director of the “Beit Baruch” Home for the Elderly, Malvina Ruvinska, warmly congratulated everyone on the upcoming Rosh Ha-Shanah. She wished for all to be inscribed in the Book of Life for a good and sweet year and presented special New Year’s gifts from the charitable organization Jewish Relief Network Ukraine.
