Beit Baruch, the Senior Citizens’ Home of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, hosts master classes every Sunday, where residents of the Home engage in creativity and make various crafts and accessories.
“This time we decided to make voluminous cards with spring motifs,” says social worker Rivka Lazareva. “At first, we were going to prepare a surprise only for those who celebrate their birthdays in the spring, but later we decided to make cards for everyone, because they turned out very bright and beautiful. When you open the card, tulips bloom or butterflies flutter inside, giving joy and inspiration. In addition, our residents wrote on each one the warmest words and sincere wishes for their neighbors and friends.”
Colorful, three-dimensional postcards made by yourself will be a wonderful gift, especially for those who, due to health reasons, can no longer leave their rooms and participate in such master classes and other creative projects of “Beit Baruch”.
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
