You should not blame yourself and punish yourself for what you feel. But you can find true joy in the struggle for control over these feelings and their elevation. Every small victory within yourself is a tremendous triumph over the gloom of the material world. Essentially, this is why the gloom is placed within us, so that we can transform it into great light.
