{"id":334275,"date":"2025-02-21T06:58:28","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T04:58:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.djc.com.ua\/no-category\/shvat-22-in-mahon-fashion-show-and-farbrengen\/"},"modified":"2025-03-28T14:54:15","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T12:54:15","slug":"shvat-22-in-mahon-fashion-show-and-farbrengen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/djc.com.ua\/en\/news\/shvat-22-in-mahon-fashion-show-and-farbrengen\/","title":{"rendered":"Shvat 22 in mahon &#8211; fashion show and farbrengen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The important date of the Hasidic calendar, the twenty-second day of the month of Shvat, the day of the yortzeit of the righteous Rebbe Hai-Mushka Schneerson, wife of the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem-Mendel Schneerson and daughter of the Sixth HaBaDa Rebbe Yosef-Yitzhak Schneerson, was celebrated this year in a completely new format &#8211; a fashion show by the girls of the mahon.<\/p>\n<p>The fashion show was held in three categories &#8211; a Hasidic business suit for a businesswoman, home clothes under the motto &#8220;The beauty of the royal daughter inside&#8221; and a festive outfit &#8220;Sabbath princess&#8221;. &#8220;It was very unusual and for the first time in the history of the mahon,&#8221; Amora Sheina Smilyansky told our website, &#8220;there were representatives from each class and it was necessary not only to show the costume, but also to justify and defend it &#8211; how much the model presented by the girls is suitable for use in Hasidic life. The girls showed a very cool imagination, a very interesting presentation and everyone had a lot of fun&#8221;.   <\/p>\n<p>The presented models were evaluated by a competent jury, which included three women, respected in the Jewish community as having excellent Jewish taste and style &#8211; Sterna Sara Genzentsvey, Esther Kandel and Haya Loskutova. &#8220;Before them there was a very difficult task &#8211; it was necessary to define three winners in all nominations, &#8211; continues Sheina Smilyanskaya, &#8211; by decision of jury the 1st place was taken by 6 class, silver at 8 class, and the third place was taken by girls of 2 class. The prize for the first place will be a field trip master class to teach the rules of etiquette and table behavior, the girls who took the second and third place received gifts related to self-care&#8221;.   <\/p>\n<p>The fashion show was followed by the official part of the event &#8211; the big Hasidic farbrengen. &#8220;We watched the Rebbe&#8217;s videos, various memories of people who saw Rebetzn Chaya Mushka Schneerson and talk about her as a very intelligent, very elegant woman who was characterized by incredible regal grandeur and yet with very great modesty and tact,&#8221; noted Amora Sheina Smilansky, &#8220;we read the mishnayot by the letters of her name, and the lighting of the memorial candle was honored by&nbsp;Keila Bluma Petrushansky.   <\/p>\n<p>The mahon then held a raffle to make good decisions in honor of Rebbetzn Hai Mushka and a quiz on knowing the Rebbetzn&#8217;s life story with prizes. &#8220;We did very well, very unusual, the girls had a lot of fun and left with a lot of inspiration and knowledge of what it means to be a real Hasidic princess,&#8221;
