Jewish Big Brothers\/Big Sisters (JBBBS) members began preparing for this bright day as early as the last meeting so that they could greet the holiday with special knowledge and good deeds. <\/p>\n<p>The class began by discussing the significance of Tu Bi Shvat, its traditions and deep meaning. The children reflected on the importance of development, both external and internal, and how our actions and aspirations are like growing trees. <\/p>\n<p>After that, the program participants moved on to the creative part &#8211; creating unique florariums. This is not just a decoration, but a living composition, reminding that care and attention help something to grow and flourish. Children enthusiastically chose decorative elements: colored moss, pebbles, miniature plants, and the main accent &#8211; a living sprout &#8211; became a symbol of strength, hope and continuity.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A particularly valuable part of the meeting was the virtual visit of our friend and mentor Jan Lvovich Sidelkovsky from Israel. His wise words about the meaning of the holiday gave even more meaning to our meeting, &#8211; said the head of the project Tatiana Kaplunskaya, &#8211; the program ended with a small task on Jewish traditions, which the children received at home, and it will be necessary to tell about its fulfillment at the next meeting. <\/p>\n<p>JBBBS continues to delight children not only with fun and informative meetings, but also with real life lessons. The program is supported by the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Boston (USA) and is part of the multifunctional &#8220;Kehillah Project&#8221;. More interesting events are ahead!
