Jews are known as the People of the Book. But what if reading could be modern and alive, engaging both kids and adults? That\u2019s the idea behind \u201cFamily Reading\u201d \u2014 a new format of online literary sessions where we read and discuss works by Jewish and Israeli authors together. <\/p>

As the announcement says:
\u201cThis project is for the whole family \u2014 we listen, ask questions, share impressions, and explore the depths of Jewish culture, traditions, and values. It\u2019s not just bedtime stories \u2014 it\u2019s reflection, emotion, laughter, and heartfelt conversation.\u201d <\/p>

We’ll begin with Sholem Aleichem\u2019s novella Motl the Cantor\u2019s Son \u2014 a sincere, funny, and touching story of a young boy in a Jewish shtetl. Through his eyes, we\u2019ll witness family life, dreams, emigration, and the resilient spirit of the Jewish people, filled with humor and hope. <\/p>
