On Sunday, ahead of the Lag BaOmer holiday, the Jewish teen program \u201cDJCY \u2013 STL teens \u2013 EnerJew\u201d \u2014 run by the Jewish Community of Dnipro with support from STL and the Enerjew project (under the JRNU foundation) \u2014 held a special outdoor event that helped prepare the teens for the upcoming celebration.<\/p>

<\/p>

The event began with grilling kebabs and roasting marshmallows, as open fire is one of the most well-known symbols of Lag BaOmer. While a large bonfire wasn’t lit just yet, outdoor grills near the Beit Hana Institute created the perfect festive atmosphere. The teens enjoyed preparing the treats themselves \u2014 it was a fun, tasty, and unifying experience. <\/p>
