The Dnipro Jewish Community’s project “Beit Yoel” (Dnipro’s “Beit Chabad” for Israelis living and studying in the city) celebrated Lag BaOmer on the grounds of the \u201cToras Emes Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva-Ktana Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>

<\/p>

In addition to students \u2014 the regular participants of the program \u2014 the guests of the celebration organized by \u201cBeit Yoel\u201d included families of the Lubavitcher Rebbe\u2019s emissaries serving in the Dnipro Jewish community. The central traditional element of the event was a large bonfire, around which both adults and children joyfully danced and shared the festive spirit of Lag BaOmer. <\/p>

<\/p>

A special children\u2019s program featured the invited clown Gosha, who entertained the kids with games, contests, and prizes. The culinary highlight of the evening was, of course, grilled meat \u2014 as fire-cooked food is a classic Lag BaOmer tradition. <\/p>

<\/p>

\u201cOn behalf of the entire \u2018Beit Yoel,\u2019 I would like to sincerely thank the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, and his son, Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki, for their care and support of our program \u2014 including this wonderful celebration.
