At the \u201cMenorah Community\u201d youth project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro \u2014 actively developed by the Zislin family \u2014 a men\u2019s learning session was held on the eve of Shavuot, led by one of the young leaders of the community, Rabbi David Vayskovskiy.<\/p>

<\/p>

Rabbi Vayskovskiy chose a profound and timely topic for the evening: life happens here and now. Much of what is presented today as modern psychological insight is, in fact, a reframing of eternal truths that the Torah has been teaching for thousands of years.<\/p>

<\/p>

\u201cReb Dovid emphasized that even though the Jews in the desert were constantly on the move, they didn\u2019t put life \u2018on hold\u2019,\u201d says Levi Zislin, head of the Menorah Community project. \u201cThey clearly understood that the time between Egypt and the Land of Israel was a temporary and transitional period, yet they continued to build, to learn, and to grow. This is what sets them apart from us \u2014 we are the ones who so often press \u2018pause\u2019 on our lives: waiting, standing in lines, stuck on the way\u2026\u201d <\/p>

During the session, participants discussed practical ways to infuse each moment with meaning, how to avoid the habit of wasting time in passive waiting, and shared their own reflections, experiences, and insights on the topic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
