The theme of the Sunday meeting in the \u201cTov ve Hesed\u201d volunteer project of the Jewish community of Dnipro \u2014 a project that supports children deprived of parental care and living in specialized institutions created as part of the \u201cDobr\u00e9 Vdoma\u201d program \u2014 was the weekly Torah portion \u201cNaso\u201d, which touches on seemingly unrelated and diverse topics.<\/p>

<\/p>

As always, the project\u2019s coordinator, Chana Neskhes, brought plenty of delightful surprises \u2014 sweets, ice cream, games, and good cheer. While for the youngest children the program focused mainly on fun and play, the older group took part in a deep and meaningful conversation that uncovered important life lessons found in the Torah portion. <\/p>

<\/p>

\u201cOften, when we find ourselves in a difficult situation that demands spiritual work, the first step is to acknowledge the problem \u2014 to become aware of its presence. Then we take a step back, detach from it, and view it from the outside, more objectively. That\u2019s when insight arises, becoming a springboard toward a future solution,\u201d explains Chana Neskhes. \u201cRight now, the older children are entering a crucial period in their lives \u2014 facing questions like where to study, what career path to choose, and whether they\u2019ll succeed in finding a profession that brings both fulfillment and success. We support their desire to learn, to explore, and to move forward without fear. We emphasize how important it is to get a quality education now in order to build a meaningful and dignified life in the future.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
