The latest men\u2019s session of the \u201cMenorah Community\u201d youth project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro \u2014 a growing initiative thanks to the efforts of the Zislin family \u2014 focused on the weekly Torah portion Shelach and the modern relevance of the story of the scouts sent to Canaan.<\/p>

<\/p>

The session was led by Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki, emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who thoroughly explained all aspects of the scouts\u2019 mission \u2014 why they went, what their critical mistake was, and how it led to serious consequences for the entire Jewish people. But the main focus was on the lessons we can learn today and apply to our own circumstances, because the Torah is eternally relevant and always provides answers to the questions humanity faces in every moment. <\/p>

\u201cIt was not only informative, but truly heartfelt,\u201d said Levi Zislin, director of the Menorah Community project. \u201cWe discussed all kinds of topics, laughed, had a great time \u2014 and we also fulfilled the mitzvah of tefillin together, filling the day with meaning and light.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
