A Brit Milah (circumcision ceremony) was held in the Menorah Center, in the festive Menorah Ballroom, for the newborn son of Rabbi Levi Karelenstein and his wife Chani.<\/p>

<\/p>

The honorable role of kvaters \u2014 the couple who bring the baby into the hall \u2014 was entrusted to Reb Yossi Nachshon and his wife Chaya.<\/p>

<\/p>

The crucial and central role of the seated sandek \u2014 the one who holds the baby during the circumcision \u2014 was performed by the baby’s grandfather, Chief Rabbi of Kremenchuk, Shlomo Dovid Salamon.<\/p>

<\/p>

The circumcision was carried out by Rabbi Yaakov Gaisinovich, Chief Mohel of Ukraine and Moldova, and representative of the international organization \u201cBrit Yosef Yitzchak.\u201d<\/p>

<\/p>

The blessings and the announcement of the baby\u2019s name were delivered by the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Shmuel Kaminezki, who declared: Shmuel Boruch!<\/p>

<\/p>

All present responded to the blessings recited during the ceremony, wishing young Shmuel Boruch that just as he entered into the covenant of Avraham, so too may he grow to reach Torah, marriage (Chuppah), and a life of good deeds.<\/p>

<\/p>

Immediately following the ceremony, a mitzvah feast (Seudat Mitzvah) took place \u2014 participation in which is considered a special merit.<\/p>

<\/p>

The Jewish community of Dnipro and our website warmly congratulate Rabbi Levi Karelenstein and his wife Chani on the Brit Milah of their son Shmuel Boruch, and wish the child to grow up healthy and joyful, to bring great happiness to his parents, and to walk the path of Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.<\/p>
