The Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, has been officially recognized as one of the best in teaching mathematics based on the results of the 2025 National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) ranking.<\/p>

In the education.ua ranking, the Dnipro Jewish Lyceum took 31st place in the “Mathematics” discipline among 6256 schools in Ukraine. In the ranking by the osvita.ua portal, which uses a different methodology, it achieved 33rd place. This is an exceptionally high result for an educational institution that does not specialize specifically in this academic subject.<\/p>

It is worth recalling that in the overall NMT results this year, the Jewish Lyceum also achieved a very high position in both rankings \u2013 fifth both in the city and in the region. In individual subjects, it ranked even higher: second in the Ukrainian language and third in mathematics. However, success in the “Mathematics” discipline at the all-Ukrainian level is a very significant achievement, demonstrating the highest quality of education at our Jewish Lyceum. <\/p>

“Of course, it’s difficult for us to compete with institutions that have a significantly larger number of hours dedicated to mathematics, that’s understandable,” says Tetyana Ivashkova, Deputy Director of the Jewish Lyceum. “But among schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums with a similar number of hours, if we are not the best, we are among the best in all of Ukraine. For many years we have maintained our standing, being in the TOP 200 schools for mathematics, but this year I consider this a very significant success for our graduates and our lyceum.”<\/p>

This year, 11 graduates successfully passed the NMT in mathematics, and their average score is 166.45. Two of them were just short of achieving the maximum score. This clearly demonstrates the high quality of teaching at the Jewish Lyceum. <\/p>

The Jewish Lyceum is successfully developing thanks to the support of the Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki.
