Today, the Dnipro Jewish Museum \u2013 the Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” \u2013 celebrates its thirteenth anniversary!<\/p>

<\/p>

Since its opening on October 16, 2012, the museum has become not only an important part of the “Menorah” Cultural and Business Center but also one of the main hubs for preserving Jewish historical memory, science, and education. Its emergence marked another significant step in the long process of reviving Jewish life in Dnipro \u2013 a process that began long before the museum’s creation and continues to inspire generations today. <\/p>

<\/p>

Over these years, the museum has taken up an important, one might say \u2013 key place in the life of the city, becoming a scientific, educational, and cultural center that unites historians, journalists, artists, and all who seek a deeper understanding of our people’s history. Its exhibitions and events not only reveal pages of the past but also shape our vision of the future. <\/p>

<\/p>

As the Director of the Dnipro Jewish Museum, Dr. Iryna Radchenko, notes: “Over the years, scholars, artists, designers, architects, and builders have journeyed from creating the museum’s concept to bringing it to life. Today, the museum’s holdings number almost 18,000 artifacts \u2013 most of them donated by private individuals, and this is the greatest testament of trust in our work. <\/p>

<\/p>

In 2024 alone, the museum was visited by 9,364 people, 11 exhibitions were opened, and 156 new exhibits were added to the collections.”<\/p>
