The “Beit Yoel” project of the Dnipro Jewish Community (a local Chabad House for Israelis living and studying in the city) held its first meeting of the season, welcoming twenty-eight new student participants from Israel.<\/p>

<\/p>

Now, including the students who are already in their second year of study in Dnipro, the total number of project participants has exceeded forty. They attend classes and meetings at “Beit Yoel” under the guidance of the project’s rabbi, Yaakov Dorfman. Rabbi Dorfman warmly welcomed the new participants, telling them about the traditions and features of this special program run by the Dnipro Jewish Community\u2014how it was created, developed, and its mission: to help members of the Israeli diaspora in Dnipro maintain their connection to Judaism and feel part of the united and cohesive Jewish community of the city under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki. <\/p>

<\/p>

An important part of the meeting was the joint celebration of the birthday of Israeli student Esther Sulayeva. Everyone\u2014the students, the teachers of “Beit Yoel,” and Rabbi Yaakov Dorfman with his wife\u2014sincerely congratulated her, wishing her health until 120 years, well-being, the blessing of the Almighty, success in her studies, and to come to Torah, the marriage canopy, and good deeds.<\/p>

<\/p>

“Despite the lack of electricity, the meeting was held very warmly and was illuminated by spiritual light and our bright emotions,” shared Rabbi Yaakov Dorfman of “Beit Yoel.” “We got acquainted with the new participants, felt a sense of unity, and celebrated Esther’s birthday as one big, loving Jewish family.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
