Ten Billboards for Hanukkah Installed in Dnipro<\/p>

<\/p>

Ten large billboards for the Hanukkah holiday have been installed on central city thoroughfares in Dnipro, featuring greetings from the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine and the Dnipro Jewish Community, as well as the dates when Hanukkah is celebrated this year.<\/p>

<\/p>

The billboards are placed at key locations with heavy traffic: near the circus at the entrance to the Central Bridge, in the Pidstantsia (Substation) area, on the ring road of the Peremoha residential district, on Kosmichna Street, on Zaporizhzhia Highway, on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue in front of the 16th City Hospital, and on Oleksandra Polia Avenue near the turn to the Jewish Lyceum. Three billboards are installed in the left-bank part of the city: at the entrance to the Amur Bridge from the side of Manuilovskyi Avenue, on Livoberezhnyi Avenue near the “Karavan” shopping center, and on Kalynova Street near the market. <\/p>

“In preparation for the holiday of light – Hanukkah, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine installed welcoming billboards not only in Dnipro, this was done as part of supporting the activities of Jewish communities in all major cities of Ukraine,” emphasizes Rabbi Reuven Kaminetsky. “We are very grateful to the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine and its head, Rabbi Meir Zvi Stambler, for the enormous assistance they provide to Jewish communities in their activities, and thanks to them, the spiritual light of the holiday comes to the homes of not tens, but hundreds of thousands of Jews in our country.”<\/p>

<\/p>

The billboards were installed a week before the start of the holiday so that city residents could prepare in advance for Hanukkah, ensure they have the necessary items like hanukkiahs, candles, and donuts, and learn about the festive events taking place in the Dnipro Jewish Community. A large number of events are planned, with the central ones being the lighting of the main hanukkiah at the “Menorah” center and hanukkiahs in various city locations.<\/p>
