At the lighting of the eighth candle of Hanukkah in Dnipro, representatives of the small but lively and active Jewish community of the city of Samar were guests of the Jewish Community of the city. For the community from a small town in the region, participation in the large-scale Hanukkah celebration in Dnipro became a special and deeply inspiring event, which allowed them to tangibly feel the strength of unity, the support of a large community, and the light of tradition that unites Jews, wherever they live. <\/p>

<\/p>

During their stay in Dnipro, the representatives of the Samar community participated in Hanukkah events and witnessed how in the Dnipro Jewish Community, centuries-old tradition, the polyphonic life of the community, and modern dynamics of development are harmoniously combined. This vivid experience became the impetus for an important collective decision \u2013 to launch a new spiritual-educational project in Samar within the framework of weekly classes conducted by the emissary of the Dnipro Jewish Community, Yosef Yitzchak Susorov. <\/p>

<\/p>

Now, inspired by the light of the candles on the eighth evening of Hanukkah in Dnipro, a special program of studying the Siddur is starting in the Jewish community of Samar. Within the regular meetings already taking place in the community, dedicated time will now be allocated for an in-depth study of the morning prayer service Shacharit, its structure, the history of its formation, and its inner meanings. The goal of this program is to help participants achieve conscious prayer with proper kavannah, inner disposition, and intention. <\/p>

<\/p>

“It was precisely the example and support of the Dnipro Jewish Community that became the source of inspiration for this step,” noted the instructor, Yosef Yitzchak Susorov. “Thanks to the Dnipro Jewish Community and personally to Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, all participants of the new program received beautiful Siddurim as a gift, which became an important part of the beginning of this journey.”<\/p>

<\/p>

It is worth recalling that in Samar, weekly classes on the study of Torah and Chassidus are already held on a regular basis, gathering from fifteen to thirty participants. These meetings, taking place in a warm and informal atmosphere, have become an important element in preserving and developing Jewish life in the city. <\/p>

<\/p>
