Alice Shnaider, an 11th-grade student at the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, has earned an honorable 3rd place at the regional creative works competition “Roots,” organized by the Dnipro branch of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>

<\/p>

This competition holds regional status and brings together talented youth from grades 7-11 and university students, who present their research and creative works in five categories covering history, architecture, culture, ecology, and legal heritage. It aims to foster research thinking and a deep understanding of Ukraine’s cultural landscape.<\/p>

<\/p>

Alice Shnaider successfully presented her work in the category “The Language of Stone: An Architectural Portrait,” within which she provided a thorough historical analysis of Dnipro’s architectural heritage, demonstrating a high level of research skill, the ability to work with sources, and independent analytical thinking.<\/p>

<\/p>

“We are proud of our student’s achievement and are delighted that our lyceum students represent our institution with distinction at the regional level,” notes the Lyceum’s Deputy Principal, Svitlana Romenska. “We extend sincere thanks to History teacher Olha Skytyashina, who oversaw the preparation, for her professionalism, attention to developing students’ talents, and for inspiring investigative work. We wish Alice new accomplishments, creative growth, and further success that will be a source of pride for both the Lyceum and the entire Dnipro Jewish Community.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
