A new episode in the weekly lesson series by Chief Rabbi of Dnipro Shmuel Kaminezki has been released on the “Menorah” YouTube channel, dedicated to the Torah portion of Kedoshim. In this lesson, the Rav addresses one of the deepest and most profound topics \u2013 whether there is life after death and how Jewish tradition answers this question. <\/p>

The portion of Kedoshim speaks about holiness in daily life and the boundaries that a person must not cross, including in the search for answers to spiritual questions. Special attention is given to the strict prohibition against turning to fortune tellers, psychics, and other practices associated with attempts to “contact” the other world. <\/p>

In his explanation, Rav Shmuel Kaminezki emphasizes that the desire to obtain answers through such methods not only contradicts the Torah but is often based on deception. At the same time, he reveals that Jewish tradition does not deny the existence of the soul after death and speaks of the importance of connecting with those who have passed on through prayer, good deeds, and blessings that the living can give in their merit. <\/p>
