During the period between Pesach and Shavuot, Jews daily fulfill the mitzvah of counting the Omer, counting forty-nine days of spiritual preparation for the giving of the Torah. A special online app has been created as part of the “MyChitas” project for the convenient and attentive fulfillment of this mitzvah. <\/p>

One of the important advantages of the app https:\/\/sfirat-haomer.mychitas.app<\/a> is its full availability in the Ukrainian language. Users can see the main texts, blessings, and the order of the count in Ukrainian, as well as use transliterations and translations of key texts, which is especially helpful for those who have not yet fully mastered Lashon HaKodesh. <\/p>

The project is conceived as a modern interactive assistant that combines the practical fulfillment of the mitzvah with the daily spiritual content of the Omer period. The app reminds users of the need for the evening count, helping not to miss any of the forty-nine days, automatically saves progress, and shows the current position in the counting cycle. <\/p>

Special attention is given to the inner meaning of each day. The app offers reflections on the spiritual significance of the combination of the sefiros of the week and the day, helping to deepen the understanding of this special period of preparation for Shavuot. <\/p>

Additionally, users are offered a daily study page related to the Talmudic tractate Sotah, synchronized with the current day of the count.<\/p>

Another feature is a selection of a cappella niggunim, corresponding to the customs of the Omer days, when many communities refrain from instrumental music.<\/p>
