Another women’s class took place at the “Menorah Community” youth project of the Dnipro Jewish Community, which is actively developing through the efforts of the Zislin family. The session was dedicated to the sacred mission of the Kohanim, their special holiness and responsibility, as well as exploring the spiritual meaning of the Lag B’Omer holiday.<\/p>

<\/p>

The speaker for the gathering was Osnat Lieberman, who offered the participants a careful and in-depth study of the laws pertaining to the Kohanim, their unique holiness and responsibility, as well as the topic of offerings and the profound meaning that the Torah attributes to serving the Almighty.<\/p>

<\/p>

During the lesson, the participants also turned to the meaning of the Lag B’Omer holiday, discussing it as a day of joy, light, and Jewish unity. A special place was given to the warm and inspiring stories (maasim) with which Osnat Lieberman infused the gathering, creating a unique atmosphere. <\/p>

<\/p>

A special part of the meeting was the participation of a distinguished guest \u2013 Rima Aronova, Rector of the International Humanities and Pedagogical Institute “Beit Chana.” She spoke about the institute’s activities, educational opportunities, in-demand professions, and the importance of quality Jewish education for the future of every girl.<\/p>

<\/p>

“Studying the topic of the sacred mission of the Kohanim and understanding the meaning of Lag B’Omer helps a girl to understand her spiritual role more deeply, strengthen her inner connection to tradition, and appreciate the significance of Jewish education,” said Esti Zislin, co-director of the “Menorah Community” project. “Such gatherings help participants strengthen their connection to Torah, to one another, and to our dear, united, and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
