This special gift was personally presented to him by Aba Nechemia Vogel, an activist of the JFK (Jewish Future of Kiev) community. As a citizen of Great Britain and a friend of JFK leader Menachem Mendel Kaminezki, he has repeatedly helped Jews in Dnipro who are drawing closer to Torah and mitzvos to acquire the means to perform one of the most important mitzvos of Judaism on a daily basis. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Valeriy Litman is an active participant in the life of the Dnipro Jewish Community and one of the activists and congregants of an important religious institution of the community \u2013 &#8220;Beit Chabad on Polia Avenue.&#8221; He takes part in many community projects and events and is well known as a creative individual and talented performer. Receiving the tefillin as a gift will enable him to regularly perform this most important mitzvah and further strengthen his connection to Jewish tradition.  <\/p><p> <\/p><p>The tefillin were presented to Valeriy Litman by the donor himself, Aba Nechemia Vogel, who personally came to Dnipro. Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki and Rabbi Levi Engelsman, director of &#8220;Beit Chabad on Polia Avenue,&#8221; also took part in the tefillin presentation ceremony. The presentation took place in a warm and dignified atmosphere and became an important event both for Valeriy Litman himself and for his friends and associates. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>&#8220;We are sincerely grateful to Aba Nechemia Vogel for this wonderful gift and for his constant attention to those who are taking new steps in the study of Jewish tradition and the observance of mitzvos,&#8221; noted Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki. &#8220;This is not the first time that thanks to his kindness and generosity, Jews of Dnipro have received their own tefillin and the opportunity to fulfill this important mitzvah daily. It is especially gratifying to see the strong and warm ties between our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community, under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, and the JFK community in Kyiv, led by Menachem Mendel Kaminezki.
