Another men’s Torah class at the “Menorah Community” youth project of the Dnipro Jewish Community, which is actively developing through the efforts of the Zislin family, was dedicated to the topic of intermarriage and the challenges it poses to preserving Jewish tradition, family values, and national identity.<\/p>

<\/p>

The speaker for the gathering was the Deputy Secretary of the Dnipro Rabbinical Court, Reb Avraham Yosef Yitzchak Karshenbaum, who offered the participants a substantive discussion of the perspectives of Jewish tradition on intermarriage, its impact on the future of the family, and the importance of preserving Jewish continuity in modern conditions.<\/p>

<\/p>

A special guest at the meeting was the Rebbe’s shliach in Richmond, Virginia (USA), and director of the Chabad Student Center at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Rabbi Menachem Mendel Lessoff. His visit lent special significance to the lesson and allowed the participants to learn about the experience of Jewish educational and youth activities in the United States.<\/p>

<\/p>

During the lesson, the participants spoke about the importance of a conscious approach to questions of family formation, discussed the role of the Jewish home in preserving tradition, and reflected on how the decisions a person makes today affect future generations.<\/p>

<\/p>

“Such lessons help men deepen their understanding of the significance of the Jewish family, the responsibility toward future generations, and the importance of preserving Jewish values in the modern world,” noted Levi Zislin, director of the “Menorah Community” project. “It is precisely through the study of Torah, communication, and the shared search for answers to important questions that our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community, under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, is strengthened.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
