Another women’s class took place at the “Menorah Community” youth project of the Dnipro Jewish Community, which is actively developing through the efforts of the Zislin family. The session was dedicated to the weekly portion of Korach, questions of unity, proper leadership, and a person’s responsibility for how they use their abilities and talents.<\/p>

<\/p>

The speaker for the gathering was Daniella Listengurt, who offered the participants a deeper look at the events of the weekly portion of Korach and the important lessons it continues to impart to the Jewish people today. During the session, the participants discussed the meaning of unity, the importance of proper leadership, and the necessity of directing one’s qualities, strengths, and capabilities toward good deeds and service to higher purposes. <\/p>

<\/p>

The participants reflected on how the pursuit of personal achievements must be combined with responsibility to the community, and that a true leader should be guided not by personal ambition but by a desire to benefit others and strengthen unity.<\/p>

<\/p>

From the theme of the weekly portion, the conversation naturally transitioned to the 3rd of Tamuz \u2013 a special date forever associated with the figure of the great tzaddik and outstanding leader \u2013 the Leader of our generation, the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson. The participants spoke about his boundless care for every Jew, the scale of his influence on Jewish life around the world, and the mission he left for every person: to add light, increase good deeds, and inspire others through their own example. <\/p>

<\/p>

Special attention was given to how the ideas of the Lubavitcher Rebbe find their continuation in daily life, helping each person to feel a personal responsibility for spreading goodness, spirituality, and Jewish values.<\/p>

<\/p>

“It was very important for the girls to see the meaning of leadership in a new light and its connection to care for every Jew, which is so vividly manifested in the figures of Moshe and Aaron described in the portion of Korach, and which we particularly feel on the Day of 3 Tamuz, when we speak about the Rebbe and his significance for each of us,” says Esti Zislin, co-director of the project. “Such gatherings help deepen our understanding of the meanings of the Torah in the light of Chassidic teaching and allow us to see how each person can add more light to the world, and how each of us can, through our behavior, bring more goodness into the world and strengthen the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
