The Jewish Community of Dnipro held a distribution of school backpacks for children who will be sitting at school desks for the first time this year. Thanks to the support of the charitable organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine) and the Life Changer charitable foundation, 32 future first-graders received the backpacks they need for their studies. <\/p>

<\/p>

Supporting children and Jewish families, and attending to their needs at every important stage of life, is one of the priority areas of the Jewish Community of Dnipro’s work. The first day of school is undoubtedly one of those special milestones, and the community strives to make it joyful and memorable for the children\u2014to help them feel that, together with their parents, the entire great Jewish family is preparing for the start of this new chapter in their lives. <\/p>

<\/p>

The beautiful school backpacks became for the future first-graders not only a useful and necessary gift, but also another expression of care for them. Most of the children have already received their backpacks, while gifts for those currently outside of Dnipro will await their young owners until their return\u2014so that no future first-grader is left without attention. <\/p>

<\/p>

The Jewish Community of Dnipro expresses its sincere gratitude to the charitable organization JRNU and the Life Changer charitable foundation for their support of the community’s children and families, their ongoing attention to their needs, and their assistance in implementing important social initiatives.<\/p>

“For every child, first grade is the beginning of an entirely new stage in life, and we are very pleased that thanks to our friends and partners, 32 future first-graders received such necessary and meaningful gifts,” said Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki. “We sincerely thank JRNU and the Life Changer charitable foundation for their support of our children and their families, for the attention and care that help them prepare for the start of school with joy and feel the support of our united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
