RETURN TO PLACES OF POWER.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">The exhibition opening will take place:<\/span><br \/><span class=\"\">Date: August 30 (Sunday)<\/span><br \/><span class=\"\">Time: 3:00 PM<\/span><br \/><span class=\"\">Location: Dnipro, 4\/26 Sholom-Aleichem Street, Menorah Center, Museum &#8220;Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine.&#8221;<\/span><br \/><span class=\"\">For inquiries: +38 050 452 21 63, +38 056 717 70 16.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"\">Admission is free.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">The organizers note: &#8220;The photo project by Professor Yevgeny Kotlyar of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts presents to the viewer a collection of artistic photographs taken by the author from 2002 to 2024 during his travels through the former Jewish towns of Ukraine. The author reveals the ancient and semi-ruined world of shtetls (from Yiddish \u2013 town), with which the centuries-long history of the Jews of Ukraine before the Holocaust was connected. In this project, Yevgeny Kotlyar explores the significance of places where Jewish life once flourished.
