The brit milah ceremony for the son of Alon Pinchas Manuilov and his wife Leah Ginda took place in the “Menorah Ballroom” celebration hall of the Jewish community.<\/p>

The honored role of kvaters \u2013 the family that brings the child into the hall \u2013 was given to the Nikitenko family. His great-grandfather Gennady Markovich was invited to place the infant on the chair of the prophet Eliyahu, and the honored role of the one who takes the child from the chair of the prophet Eliyahu was performed by his uncle Yonatan Manuilov. <\/p>

The unique Letter of Blessing from the Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson was read by Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki, with its translation delivered by Rabbi Chaim Weitzman.<\/p>

The honored role of the seated sandak \u2013 the one who holds the infant during the circumcision \u2013 was performed by the baby’s grandfather, Rabbi David Yisroel Dov Manuilov. The standing sandak was also the child’s grandfather \u2013 Reb Binyamin Gurko. <\/p>

The circumcision ceremony was conducted by Rabbi Nir Dorfman. Afterward, the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminezki, recited the blessing and proclaimed the boy’s name \u2013 Lior. <\/p>

All those present, responding to the blessings recited during the ceremony, wished young Lior that just as he has entered the covenant of Avraham, so may he come to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.<\/p>

Immediately following the ceremony, a festive seudas mitzvah \u2013 a commandment meal \u2013 was held, participation in which is considered a special merit.<\/p>

The Jewish Community of Dnipro and our website sincerely congratulate Alon Pinchas and Leah Ginda Manuilov on the brit milah of their son Lior and wish the entire family much joy, happiness, and good news. May Lior grow up healthy and happy, and come to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds. <\/p>
