The cost of one bird this year is expected to be 250 hryvnias. <br><br><\/p><p>On the eve of Yom Kippur, according to Kabbalah and the Talmud, the Almighty shows special mercy to His people, and it is precisely at this time that the kaporos ceremony is held.<br><br><\/p><p>For kaporos, it is customary to take a rooster for a man and a hen for a woman. For a pregnant woman, it is customary to take three birds \u2013 two hens and one rooster. <br><br><\/p><p>One should by no means think that kaporos actually atones for sins.
