At the “Beit Tzindlicht” children’s educational center, a leading preschool institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, active preparations have begun for one of the most joyful holidays of the Jewish calendar \u2013 Sukkos. A festive sukkah is already being built on the preschool’s grounds, where the students will be able to fulfill mitzvos, take part in festive activities, and meet the famous heroes of Jewish history \u2013 the Ushpizin. <\/p>

<\/p>

Throughout the thematic week, the children not only observe the construction of the sukkah but also become acquainted with its structure and significance themselves. The students learn what the roof of the sukkah should be like, discover the four species of plants that constitute one of the main mitzvos of Sukkos, and, in a playful format, learn to correctly perform the mitzvah of netilas lulav, becoming familiar with its content and meaning. <\/p>

<\/p>

The main event will be a grand celebration that will take place in the sukkah for all the students of the preschool. A rich program has been prepared for the children, with a theatrical performance, a puppet theater, creative and game stations, sweet treats, and a festive photo zone. Together with their educators, the little ones will be able to fulfill the mitzvos of Sukkos, shake the lulav and esrog, spend time in the sukkah, and share the joy of the holiday in a warm and friendly atmosphere. <\/p>

“We very much want the children not merely to learn about the holiday of Sukkos, but to experience it with joy, fulfilling its mitzvos and feeling the special atmosphere of this time,” noted preschool teacher Malka Averbukh. “That is precisely why preparation for the holiday begins in advance, so that every child can feel themselves an active participant in what is happening, discover the beauty of Jewish traditions, and greet Sukkos with joy. And for the opportunity to raise children in such an atmosphere, we sincerely thank the united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
