Organization of holidays and farbrengens

All Jewish holidays are bright and colorful in Dnipro. The Central Synagogue “Golden Rose” and Beit Chabads around the city are overflowing with congregants on the major Jewish holidays of Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Purim and Pesach.

Every year more Jews come to synagogue to hear the recitation of the Ten Commandments or the trumpet sound of the Shofar, more people fast on the day of Yom Kippur.

For the holiday of Sukkot, a huge tent is placed in the courtyard of the Central Synagogue, where kosher meals are organized. Charitable meals and farbrengens are organized for the elderly and low-income people in honor of Jewish holidays and memorable dates.
