The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wholeheartedly wish a very happy birthday to Oleksandr Yevseyovych Sorin! Mr. Sorin celebrated his birthday yesterday, June 27.
Oleksandr Sorin, one of the leading architects of Dnipro and Ukraine, has fruitfully collaborated with the city’s Jewish community for many years. He is the author of the design for the world’s largest “Menorah” center, the “Matzevah” memorial complex in Pysarzhevsky Park, the memorial plaque on the house where the Chief Rabbi of Yekaterinoslav, Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, lived, and many other sites connected to Jewish life in the city.
The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wish Oleksandr Sorin good health, prosperity, creative success, and many years of fruitful work.
