For more than thirty years, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki has been the recognized leader of our community. A significant and joyous event took place at the Dnipro Jewish Community—the completion of writing and donation of a new Sefer Torah to the Jewish religious community of the city of Mykolaiv. This Sefer Torah was written at the initiative and with the support of esteemed Dnipro Jewish Community member Binyamin Demchenko and his family, Completion and Donation of a New Sefer Torah to the Mykolaiv Jewish Community

Happy Birthday, Aryeh and Eliyahu Ivakhnenko!

A special and touching Bat Mitzvah celebration took place at the “DJCY–STL Kids–JFuture” children’s program, implemented by the Dnipro Jewish Community with the support of STL and JFuture (a project of the JRNU Foundation). The guest of honor was Tanya Pavlova, who only joined the Jewish lyceum of our city this year and is taking Bat Mitzvah for Tanya Pavlova at the “DJCY–STL Kids–JFuture” Children’s Program

At the Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Yeshiva Ktana, the leading educational institution for boys of the Dnipro Jewish Community, a joyous celebration was held for second-grade students marking the completion of two portions from the first book of the Torah—Bereishit. The boys finished studying Parshas Noach and Parshas Lech Lecha, and this important milestone became Celebrating the Completion of Torah Portions in Second Grade at Yeshiva Ktana

On the eve of Rosh Chodesh Adar, sessions dedicated to the theme “Joy in Adar” took place in two educational projects of the Dnipro Jewish Community—”The Jewish Home” and “Time, Word, Opportunity,” led by Chaya Prasolova.
