Rosh Chodesh Iyar was celebrated by the youth project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro,” which is supported by STL, in various formats — we have already reported about the women’s club, and now we would like to share about the men’s farbrengen held in honor of the holiday.
This farbrengen took place on the second day of Rosh Chodesh in an emotionally rich and festive atmosphere of unity and inspiration. The speaker was Yossi Nachshon, a teacher and mashpia of the project, who made the event truly engaging and unforgettable.
“This farbrengen took place in a warm, relaxed, and genuinely Chassidic atmosphere, where we discussed topics of faith, self-growth, and the spiritual meaning of the month of Iyar,” says Eliyahu Ivakhnenko, one of the leaders of the “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro” project. “There were moving Chassidic stories, we sang nigunim, said ‘L’chaim,’ and everyone had the chance to share their thoughts and hear inspiring words. The farbrengen was filled with brotherhood and spiritual uplift, leaving each of us with a deep sense of unity and inner light.”
